The visual identity was shaped by the tone and emotion of each series. I started by laying out selected photos and sampling colors using a basic picker tool.
Some palettes were adjusted for contrast or mood, but a pattern quickly emerged—I kept returning to tones that naturally surfaced across Guzel’s work.
With the visuals set, I turned to movement as a way to quietly guide the experience. Scroll interactions and transitions were designed to feel natural and slow-paced—like a viewer drifting through the work, not rushing past it.
Film photography is central to her practice, and I used interaction design to echo that process—bringing in elements of layering, delay, and subtle transitions to mirror the feeling of film development in a digital space.

A portfolio refresh for Tiny Lion, built around motion, storytelling, and easter eggs. A fearless, expressive site for a sound studio that doesn’t play it safe. *RAWR* 🦁
Helping Shift make a bold entrance with scroll-stopping ads for the #1 nic reduction system. Smart visuals, cheeky headlines, and plenty of testing—more coming soon!
